And what a weekend it’s been! Hiya! I hope you’re doing well! I think I have some Verana Blend Starbucks Keurigs somewhere… I also have juices of a variety, water, maybe some whole milk. I’m glad you’re here! Let’s slow down for a moment before I have to go to sleep so I can be up at 4 a.m. for work at 5.
If we were having coffee I would tell you that I spent all weekend working on English and American History work. My brain is fried. Words don’t make sense anymore. Research is frustrating. I’m physically exhausted from work and mentally exhausted from school work. But I feel accomplished. I’m happy. 🙂
I wrote something for Friday Fictioneers, I don’t think I’ve ever written post for that. It was a challenge for sure. I’m glad I did it. It helped me to exercise my creativity, I think. It was a lot of fun and I enjoyed reading the responses. Have you written anything for Friday Fictioneers before? How’d you feel about it?
For Mother’s Day my amazing Significant Other, “M,” bought me a strawberry plant and also a tomato plant. The strawberries are blooming and the tomato plant isn’t dead yet so I consider that a win. I’m so good at killing plants… I do love to watch them grow though and I’m really trying this time to keep up with them. I also have some jalapenos out there. I’m hoping to make some salsa one day. I love salsa.
My days are blending in to each other. I spend most of my time at work and it’s frustrating for sure. It’s so busy and customers aren’t the nicest right now, neither are associates. We’re all trying to survive this sudden surge of business. It’s hard for sure but I’ve got a vacation coming up that starts next week. I can’t wait. I’m hoping to work ahead on homework (it’s one of the benefits of doing school online) and work on my fiction writing. Having a picture prompt helped me a lot for Friday Fictioneers. I may try to do more of those.
And that’s what life consists of right now. I’m trying to work hard, keep up with my house, be a teacher for my children, work on my writing, show appreciation and love to my Guy and my family, all while trying to not lose my mind. I think I’m winning for the most part. My anxiety hasn’t been nearly as bad as I thought it would be at this point. I think I’m handling this pandemic fairly well.
I’m looking forward to hearing all about what’s new with you! I’m thankful that I had a little bit of time to catch up with you. I hope you’re staying safe and healthy, physically, mentally and emotionally! I hope you have a great upcoming week! xx
